Private Gynaecologist in London

World class care from private London gynaecologist Ian Chilcott

Preventative care

An annual well-woman check enables early detection of gynaecological issues, often before they would otherwise be recognised. Regular cervical smears/HPV testing will prevent the vast majority of cases of cervical cancer. In those screened negative for HPV, vaccination may be appropriate as a preventative measure.

Comprehensive gynaecological services

Investigation and treatment for a comprehensive range of gynaecological conditions are available. A few examples:

Heavy periods

All available medical and surgical treatments, from simple medications to Mirena IUS fitting, to endometrial ablation, myomectomy and hysterectomy. Mr Chilcott has expertise in all treatments.

Pelvic pain

Detailed evaluation can be undertaken. Often investigation and treatment by laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery is warranted, for conditions such as endometriosis.
